Eron Download For Pc [License]

Updated: Nov 27, 2020

About This Game Eron is a 2D platform game that allows the player to actively switch between two parallel realms. The player will have to depend upon this power to finish each level. In a distant galaxy, on an uncharted planet code-named, Eron, a special power is hidden. The planet is in constant danger as many seek this power hidden in the planets core. You play as a native tribesman on this planet, who one day discovers that uninvited guests have destroyed your village. It is up to you to find and stop whoever is responsible. ***THIS GAME MIGHT NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR GAMEPAD*** This game has only been verified to work on a Xbox 360 controller for Windows and a few similar gamepads. 7aa9394dea Title: EronGenre: IndieDeveloper:David MulderPublisher:David MulderRelease Date: 17 Mar, 2015 Eron Download For Pc [License] Risking premature judgement, I'll say after only 20 minutes of playing that this game is bloody awesome. It's a tough puzzle platformer, taking the player back to the times when it wasn't a crime if you had to practice a scene before completing it.The visuals and the music are OK, but in a game like this, the controls are everything. Now, I'm the guy who ♥♥♥♥♥es about controls in four out of five platformer reviews, but I can't find any flaw with these ones - they're snappy, consistent and well designed. Also, I see people complaining about the lack of ability to change controls - you can't change them in-game, but you can do that on the Unity launch screen, just select the 'input' tab.All in all, Eron is a tough and brilliant game, and I applaud its creators. It's no casual game, so it's definitely not for everyone, but I can recommend it to anyone who likes a challenge and doesn't mind his♥♥♥♥♥♥whipped every once on a while :)Update: I got to the last level, and my initial impression fully holds. This game is a gem.. Eron Review - Raymond KTThis visually pleasing puzzle platformer wastes no time in restarting you at checkpoints, as you hit your head on the various level design flaws using quirky controls. Eron is a game that looks phenomenal at a glance. Great art, beautiful music, a fun sort of flow to the running/jumping/dimension shifting gameplay. Yeah, not recommended. It’s hard, very hard without mercy. Not as hard as games like Dark Souls but still not an easy one.. A really good platforming game with a twist. You are introduced to many fun mechanics in this atmospheric platformer. Athough it doesn't have a thorough story or tutorial, the gameplay and design is amazing. This game doesn't need a story to back itself up and the mechanics introduced to you are pretty self-explanitory after a death or two. Also, the soundtrack is awesome, too bad there isn't a soundtrack you can buy. Totally worth the price, especially for 1.99.10/10. My playtime does not lie for this one; I have yet to play it extensively. On the other hand, playing it for 15 mins gives you the gist: it is a fast-paced 2D platformer quite similar to Super Meat Boy. Beside the carefully executed jumps the emphasis is on switching between two worlds as there are platforms that can only appear by the press of a button. There are also orbs that shoot you up in the air if you make a switch when your hero is just in front of these items. When they appear in quick succession you know you're in a world of hurt as being patient is a must in this genre. If Super Meat Boy has already been completed by you or you simply miss a challenge Eron is just for you. Do remember, however, that it will give you the hard times as you make progress.. One of the hardest and most rewarding games I have ever played. 9/10So good. YES, It is incredibly frustrating. YES, it almost made me rip out my hair... but the feeling of satisfaction after FINALLY beating a level that kicked my♥♥♥♥♥so many times is so worth it.If you like freakishly difficult games this is for you. A word of wisdom = there is ALWAYS a way to beat a seemingly impossible level.Don't listen to the negative reviews. They're just from losers who couldn't beat the game.. Eron is a 2D pixel art Indie game with great visuals and music. The whole feel of the game is very appealing, combining modern pixel art, such as we've seen in games like Risk of Rain and Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery, with soothing chiptune soundtrack that i would really like to own on a CD. Sharp colors combined with music that complements the visuals immensely make the aesthetic value of the game worth so much more than the small amount of $1.49 that i paid for the game. The story is apparently about a tribesman on the planet Eron who uses his ability to switch between 2 parallel worlds to combat aliens that have invaded this realm. The world switching mechanic is a pretty sweet concept and not something i've seen in many other games and it's applied here so beautifully taht in a matter of minutes it becomes second nature and the game starts to very fluid. The controls are simple and few buttons are in use, but as the game is intended for controller use, there's no option for button mapping, which would be great to have. But if you do have a controller then the game controls just beautifully and is very smooth and the only thing i have to complain about it is that many of the platforms are placed so far away that you need to go to the absolute edge to reach it and it's not easy to time it correctly which makes me think that this is just a gimmick to elongate the gameplay.I for one wholeheartedly recommend this game, especially since it has such a low price. If you like platformers that are challenging but fun, then you should find this game a good buy.. Eron is a 2d-sidecrolling pixel art masocore platformer in which you play as a tribesman who wishes to achieve his quest of destroying the aliens that have invaded his world and destroyed his villiage.Eron has a pretty interesting concept in which you "shift" through 2 parallel worlds in order to land on platforms which are scattered along these 2 worlds. Landing on these platforms might sound easy, but you need to be precise, co-ordinated and quick with your shifting. You are thrown into the game without any instructions, which I found to be a plus point. Considering that this game was meant to be a difficult platformer, being thrown into, blank, adds to the difficulty. No idea how to do what, take time figuring out and getting used to the controls, I found that to be a plus point in terms of difficulty. The level design is quite good. The puzzles were pretty challenging but not as much as I thought them to be. After you've caught on to what's going on and actually focus, they turn out to be quite simple. Of course, you learn through trial and error. As you progress through the levels, you encounter spheres that you need to destroy and explosive ones that you have to evade. Shifiting worlds saves you from the explosions caused by the explosive ones. You have to be really quick in shifting in and out as majority of the time, platforms underneath you shift as well. Won't be saying more, "puzzle" eh?The story has really no effect. It's just basically another level that drags on until you finish it. That's kind of the main problem, there's no "motivation" to play further on other than just finishing the game. The art style was cool and all, but not as much that would push me further to see what the game brings on in the next level other than a different puzzle. The jump mechanic is kind of weird, once you stop in mid air, you're just going to fall down no matter what. You can't do anything to change that outcome. In a way, it's a good addition to the difficulty but also quite an annoyance. The shifting mechanic sometimes just breaks, randomly, there's no going back. You have to die to start back at the beginning of the level to get it working again. It's quite irksome to have to do the entire thing again and it not being your fault. Pretty cool if it gets fixed. The soundtrack is pretty retro and quite catchy. Does suit the atmosphere of the game, but after a while, it gets really, really repetitive. Not the type of repetitive that would be fun to hear to, though.Overall, considering the up and downs of this game and its price, I'd recommend it.. This game is stupid hard, but, it is also stupid fun.The soundtrack is amazing and I love the feel once you finally figure out how to beet the lvl.If your up to the challenge, its a great game for only 30 cents (or $2). Really good game, Had some pratice on my friends account but had to download and finish it on mine. Havent played a challanging game like this in a long time. Worth the money over and over. Super rewarding when you finish it.. Pixel Art: 4.5/5Immersion: 2.5/5 (Sound track is nice)Gameplay: 2.5/5 Controls: 2/5 (Biggest issue of the game) Value: 4/5 (Super cheap) Difficulty: 4.5/5 --------------Overall 3.1 (Difficulty always excluded)Please follow my Pixel Art Curation to discover other great games...This is a real tough one to recommend...It is a very tough puzzler/platformer, but not because of design, rather because of bad controls!I purchased this to explore the pixel graphic art and it does not disappoint in that category, though it is simple, it is quite creative and beautiful...Very techno-asian!The games mechanics are very simple, run/jump and phase shift to work your way through the level. You have to destroy all the orbs on the level to proceed.Sadly, it is hard to enjoy at its fullest potential, because the controls are not very precise and the mechanics are very hard to execute. First of all, jumping mechanics are inconsistent, you can jump up and move in any direction, but if you change direction mid-air you simply stop in your tracks and drop like a box of rocks. Secondly, the high/long jump mechanic is just way to precise and hard to execute with consistancy!I am on the fence on this one...Its saving grace is the beautiful pixel art and that it is cheap.I am going to have to thumbs down for the majority of players :( Yet, since it is so cheap and can often be purchased even for $0.50, I would say to hardcore platformers to give it a try.If the devs address a few issues, I would definitely consider changing this to thumbs up ;)ISSUES:1.) Cannot change direction while jumping, just stops mid-air :(2.) High/long jump just too difficult to execute :(3.) Since players are going to die often, they should keep the sound track playing consistantly when respawning!NOTICE: These are my opinions about the experience I had playing this game. I share them in hopes that people who are like minded will either enjoy a suggested game, or avoid frustration wasting time and money on something I felt was a personal waste. Please feel free to comment positively, but know that anything that trolls or is just simply negative comments will be quickly deleted. The reality is, that my reviews are for people who do not own the game, not to initiate philosophical dialogue about it. If you are passionate about this game, please feel free to share that in your own review. Funny nobody every trolls or bashes a positive review on steam ;)
